Matcha Ceremonial Grade

This matcha comes from the first harvest (Ichibancha) of green tea leaves in Kagoshima, Japan. It is hand picked with care and shaded for 3-4 weeks before it is ground in a granite stone ground. Our matcha is of the highest level, single origin cultivar.

Cultivar: Yabukita

This matcha is known for it's well-balanced taste and vibrant vegetal flavor, with hints of umami and a touch of natural sweetness. It is very smooth and easy to drink, but still has enough flavor character to not get lost when blended with milk or other flavoring. This makes the powder suitable for both Koicha and Usucha, and works well both on it's own or mixed with milk of choice.
